What to do about
enlarged pores day to day
You can't make a pore disappear, but you can significantly improve how it looks. With the right steps and a little consistency, your skin looks smoother and your glow stays luminous rather than shiny.
Diagnosis
Why do pores become more visible?
Pore size depends partly on genetics. Excess sebum mixed with dead cells can visibly stretch the pore and form comedones. Overly aggressive routines weaken the skin barrier, which has the opposite effect to the one you want.
The right step
Cleanse without stripping
An evening double cleanse can be useful if you wear make-up or long-wear SPF. Your skin should feel clean, never squeaky. In the morning, a gentle cleanse is usually enough.
The go-to active
Use BHA in moderation
Salicylic acid works in the oily environment of the pore to help dislodge dead cells and built-up sebum. Start with two evenings a week, then adjust according to how your skin reacts.

The complement
Regulate with niacinamide
Niacinamide helps regulate sebum production, supports the skin barrier and gradually improves the overall look of skin texture. A moderate concentration is often enough.

For a treatment more specifically targeted at enlarged pores, a serum combining PDRN and peptides can provide extra support, alongside sebum regulation.
